Leinfelden - Echterdingen / Karlsruhe – Hirsch Reisen GmbH is celebrating its 75th anniversary with four next-generation Setra touring coaches. After an extensive facelift, ComfortClass vehicles now feature a three-dimensional brand lettering in chrome on a glossy black background. The four S 515 HDs, all representing a complete renewal of the fleet, are each equipped with 40 travel seats and used for cultural tours throughout Europe.

New Active Drive Assist 2 is also on board. The system uses continous steering interventions to keep the vehicle in a set position within the lane, which enables partially automated driving in all speed ranges. Active Brake Assist 5 also ensures maximum safety. As the world’s first emergency braking assistance system for buses/touring coaches, the assistance system is able to carry out maximum full-stop braking for moving and stationary persons up to a vehicle speed of 50 km/h.

In order to offer guests a genuine travel experience, the traditional, Baden-Wurttemberg-based, family-owned company, managed by Andreas and Mathias Hirsch in the second generation, limits almost all trips to 29 participants.
