Leinfelden-Echterdingen/Neu-Ulm/Kernen – Schlienz Tours GmbH & Co. KG from Kernen near Stuttgart is expanding its fleet with a S 516 HDH. In the coach from the model-maintained Setra TopClass, 50 passengers can make themselves comfortable on high-quality Ambassador travel seats with adjustable headrests and additional center backrests. They can also enjoy the view from the panoramic glass roof on journeys throughout Europe and help themselves to hot drinks at any time from the on-board hot drinks center.

In addition to pure comfort, Managing Director Erhard Kiesel and his team also focus on maximum safety and economy. The three-axle vehicle with its wooden floor design has all the latest driver and safety assistance systems on board, including Predictive Powertrain Control (PPC). Thanks to the predictive cruise control with topography detection, drivers can navigate in an environmentally conscious and economically efficient manner.

With the S 516 HDH, the Swabian mobility service provider is acquiring a very special coach. It is the 1,000th vehicle that Walter Gerber has been able to hand over to a customer since he began working independently as a Setra general agent in 2002.

Among this customer base is Schlienz Tours, with four travel agencies and currently around 700 employees. The company currently has over 450 vehicles in operation, including minibuses, scheduled coaches and luxuriously equipped coaches. In addition to the company's own travel program, which includes art, city, air and river cruises, the vehicles are used for shuttle services and are made available to companies and clubs for excursions and events.
