Striking appearance with new family face and character element.
The new family face is the outstanding distinguishing feature of the next generation Setra ComfortClass, supported by the new character element on the flanks. The combination of a black front panel and silver elements underlines the high quality of the next generation of ComfortClass. Together with the fresh blue paintwork in metallic denim for the body and detachable parts, this results in the modern appearance of the HD model.
Tasteful and cozy comfort equipment for travel.
When boarding, passengers look at a back-lit step strip with brand lettering. Inside, they are welcomed by a tasteful interior with a wood-look floor covering, partition walls with glass insert, the high-quality Setra Voyage travel seating with a multi-part composition fabric combination for the seat surface and backrest as well as headboard and piping in cognac and curtains alternating in copper and beige. Drivers can select the ambient lighting highlights installed under the window sills. A real feel-good passenger compartment, supplemented by refrigerator, kitchenette and a washroom plus toilet at door two.
Entertainment electronics are also class. Coach MediaRouter ensures Internet access, while the new Coach Infotainment Series multimedia system together with large, foldable 21.5-inch screens ensure entertainment. If you would like to use your enjoy your own entertainment, plug any devices you bring with you into the USB ports between the double seats.
Attractive cockpit, exemplary safety, superior drive.
The cockpit of the next generation of ComfortClass wins the contest with elements including Keyless Start and the new electronic parking brake, supported in these vehicles by the practical hold function as well as the Coach Infotainment Series multimedia system. A whole bundle of safety and assistance systems supports the driver. There are the new, even brighter LED headlights or the peripheral lighting for reversing and the 360° camera system for a perfect overview all around. Further equipment list reads like a Who’s Who of the assistance systems: Active Drive Assist 2 including Active Steering Assist, adaptive cruise control, Active Brake Assist 5, the latest generation of Predictive Powertrain Control, Sideguard Assist, tire pressure monitoring system (TPM).
In combination with the fully automated GO 250–8 PowerShift transmission and the RO 440 rear axle, the compact in-line six-cylinder OM 470 ensures an equally superior, economical and low-emission drive. In this context, drivers are also provided with valuable support from the Driver Score.
