The Kässbohrer Haus, also known as the "Haus zur Weinreibe", is located in the middle of Ulm's old town, in the fishing district. It was built around 1480 as a private residence - even before completion of the Ulm Cathedral. It is the original family home of Karl Kässbohrer, the founder of the later Kässbohrer Fahrzeugwerke company.
The Kässbohrer Haus.
In the footsteps of the Setra brand in Ulm, Germany.
A rich and eventful family history.
For almost 20 years, the Kässbohrer Haus has served as a meeting place for customers, guests and employees of the EvoBus company. It is also home to the Setra exhibition, which showcases the development and heritage of the Kässbohrer family as well as the history of the Setra brand. The personalities of company founder Karl Kässbohrer and his son Otto Kässbohrer are focal points of the historic exhibition.
The spirit of a great brand.
Visitors to the Kässbohrer Haus can feel the legend and spirit of the Setra brand everywhere. Over and above the exhibition, the renovated half-timbered building houses a modern conference area for seminars, workshops and conferences on the upper floor. EvoBus often holds events with customers here, as well as internal meetings and workshops.
